The Hollis Fast 5K is a point-to-point race course. Our unique course drops 224 feet from start to finish. Many runners record their personal best time on this course. The distance is certified by the USATF, but because it drops more than one meter per kilometer, official state and national records do not count. If you beat your state age record, you will receive a waived entry into the 2025 race. In our 18 year history, 182 state individual age records have been beaten. Results will be posted at the race and sent to participants via email. Results will also be posted
on www.iresultslive.com on Friday, June 14th. |
AWARDS CEREMONY / AWARDS PICKUP |
Awards in all categories will be distributed at Alpine Grove immediately following the race. |
Unclaimed awards will be available for pickup at Fleet Feet Sports, 4 Coliseum Ave, Nashua from Friday, June 14 through Saturday, June 22, 2024. |
No awards will be mailed. |
TIMING |
The race will be professionally timed by Yankee Timing using the Chronotrack Disposable B Tags fastened to your race number. The results will be posted on www.iresultslive.com after the race. Your individual results will be emailed. Discrepancies in the results should be emailed to: Richie@YankeeTiming.com |
AFTER RACE REFRESHMENTS |
Bottled water and snacks will be distributed at either the finish line or at Alpine Grove. Details
will be sent prior to the race via email. |
PHOTOGRAPHY |
Photographers will be taking pictures at the start and finish line and at points along the course. |
WATER STOPS |
It is critical that all runners drink water before, during and after the race. Water will be available at Alpine Grove, at the Hollis Brookline Middle School and at the starting line. There will be one water stop at the halfway point. Water will also be available at the finish line. |
MILE MARKERS |
Mile markers located at miles 1, 2, & 3, along with "to-go" markers at the 1 mile, .75 mile, .50 mile, and .25 miles to go. |
BATHROOM FACILITIES |
Bathroom facilities will be located at Alpine Grove Banquet Facility, Clinton Drive (express parking area), at Hollis Brookline Middle School prior to the start of the race and at the finish line. |
